Mienhardt, Porter Lead GC Men's and Women's XC Teams at Hagan Stone
Amanda Meinhardt and Andre Porter paced the Greensboro College cross country teams on Saturday afternoon against some of the top competition from Division I, II and III.
Meinhardt turned in the top finish on both sides with a 46th place time of 24:50.40. She was followed by Briona Ramsey, who clocked in at 25:30.43 and Anne-Marie Green at 27:27.52. Also finishing the 5,000 meter course was Stephanie Geiss in 31:52.73.
Porter again led the way for the men on the 8,000 meter course with a 58th place finish in 32:15.19. Lance Albritton came in shortly after with a time of 35:18.02, beating out teammate Nick Ceglio's finish of 36:52.43. Lugman Tijani clocked in at 39:23.95, Clifford Barnett at 39:25.09, Keegan Lax at 41:26.29 and John Downs at 42:45.41.
The Pride cross country teams will be back in action on October 8 at the Wilbur Rose Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC.
