Cross Country to Run at Hagan Stone Classic

The Greensboro College men and women's cross coutry teams will have tough competition this Saturday, October 1st, at the Hagan Stone Cross Country Classic.  They will face off against Division I universities; Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, and UNC-Greensboro; Division II Bluefield State College; and Division III schools, Meredith College and Averett University.

Last weekend the men finished with 319 places in the Greensboro Invitational, while the women ended the day with 349 places.  Andre Porter recorded the top finish on both sides in 59th place, clocking in with a time of 34:54.88.  Andrienne Terrell led the women with a time of 27:55.94 on the 5K course.

The Pride look to finish stronger this weekend, perhaps even upsetting one of the larger competitors at the tournament.
