Five Pride Athletes Named to USA South All-Tourney Teams
Pride golfers Scott Novicki, Nick Peoples and Joshua Hudgins; softball player Brittany Evans; and women's lacrosse player Brittany Ziobro were named to their respective sports USA South All-Tournament Teams this weekend.
In addition to winning the USA South men's golf championship, Novicki edged Peoples in a play-off to take home the individual title. Hudgins also earned a top finish, placing in a tie for fourth in the overall tournament field.
On the softball field, Evans earned All-Tournament honors after going 7-14 during Greensboro's four game tournament run. Evans also scored three runs to go along with two RBI.
Ziobro, meanwhile, nearly led The Pride women's lacrosse team into the championship round with a four goal performance against Shenandoah.
