2012 PrideFest Event Moved to August 24

The Greensboro College Athletic Department officially announced that PrideFest 2012 has been moved from Saturday, August 4 to Friday, August 24. The event will now take place on front campus.

Participants with tickets will have 39 opportunities to win cash prizes.

Tickets can be purchased online HERE or by phone at 336-272-7102 ext. 250. Tickets will remain on sale until the event or when all tickets are sold. Each ticket costs $100 and only 1,000 tickets will be sold.  More than one ticket may be purchased by an individual or company. 

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday August 24, 2012. There will be live entertainment and games during the drawings. Free food and drinks will be provided from 6:00—8:00.

Those without ticket will be admitted free but will not be eligible to win a prize.

NOTE: Winners are responsible for all taxes. Cash prizes may be adjusted if all tickets are not sold.

WELCOME WEEKEND SCHEDULE (Friday, August 24)

1-6 p.m. - Bongo Ball

5:30 p.m. - Grand opening of the Dr. Milt Reece Athletic Media Center

6 p.m. - Welcome Weekend Picnic - Alumni cost is $8 per person. Students/faculty/staff are free with college ID. Reservations required (register below). *Remember to bring your cans of non-perishable foods to donate to the Soup Bowl!

6 p.m. - PrideFest begins

8 p.m. - Band begins

8:30 p.m. - Grand Prize of PrideFest raffle announced
