Men and Women's Swimming Back in Action at Home
The men and women's swim teams will be in action for the first time since the winter break on Saturday, January 14th, as they take on Randolph-Macon at Reynold's Pool. The men are fresh off the school's first ever victory as they defeated LaGrange 92-69 on December 16th. The women, on the other hand, are looking for win number three after defeating LaGrange and Ferrum on the road.
The women have already faced off against Randolph-Macon once this season, competing in the Randolph-Macon Invitational. Randolph-Macon won their invitational, finishing with 597 points. Despite being picked to win the ODAC this season, Randolph-Macon has struggled getting results, with the only win coming at its home invitational. They also finished second at the ODAC relays and third at the TCNJ Invitational.
Randolph-Macon's men's team has also struggled at times this season, posting just one overall win, in a dual meet with Hampden-Sydney. They finished second place at the Randolph-Macon Invitational and fourth at the TCNJ Invitational. The Pride men's team, meanwhile, is looking for a second consecutive win, and a proud start to the inaugural season of men's swimming at Greensboro College.
The meet is schedule to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Reynold's Pool in the Reynold's Student Life Center located on Market Street. The meet was originally scheduled for the Greensboro Aquatic Center, but has officially been relocated.
