Men's and Women's Basketball to Host USA South First Round Games
The Greensboro College men's and women's basketball teams wrapped up the regular season on Saturday and will each enter the USA South Tournament on Tuesday as the number three seed. Both teams will host sixth seeded Averett on Tuesday at Hanes Gym. The women's game will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the men's contest following at 7:30 p.m.
The women finished the season with an overall record of 21-4 and 15-3 in the conference while the men concluded the year at 16-9 and 7-5. The Pride women earned a share of the USA South title with Ferrum and Christopher Newport but lost the tiebreaker to fall to the third seed.
