The Greensboro College Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), and is designed for students who are pursuing their certification by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) as an athletic trainer.

A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), with the consultation and supervision of attending and/or consulting physicians, is an integral part of the health care system associated with sports. Our program seeks to develop individuals that excel as students, as clinicians, and as leaders in the athletic training profession and in the community.
