B. Charles-Liscombe joined the faculty at Greensboro College in
2001. He currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator and an
Associate Professor for the Athletic Training Education Program.
Prior to Greensboro College, he was a Clinical Instructor/Associate
Athletic Trainer at Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, N.C.
BC completed his doctorate in Exercise and Sport Science at UNCG in
May of 2007.He completed is Master of Science degree at Indiana
University and his undergraduate studies at Guilford College.
He serves as the District 5 director of the NCATA and is a site
visitor for CAATE. In 2008, Dr. Charles-Liscombe was awarded the
"Atheltic Training Educator of the Year" award from the
NCATA. His various community service activities include
serving on the Get Healthy Guilford Coalition, a group focused on
addressing obesity and weight related issues in Guilford County.
His research interests include qualitative and survey research
methods, faculty role strain and academic role orientation
among AT educators.
BC and his wife Jaychele, also an athletic trainer and adjunct
professor, have three daughters, Sabra, Teagan and Emery.
