Greensboro College earned three all conference honors announced today by the USA South.
Kacie Hyatt (Randleman, NC/Southern Guilford),
Sha McDuffie (Winston-Salem, NC/Parkland) and
Laura Borawski (LaPlata, MD/McDonough) were Pride student-athletes receiving recognition.
Hyatt was named to the all conference third team. A senior, she led GC with 3.23 kills per set and also averaged 2.4 digs. In addition to kills, Hyatt topped the team in hitting (.193) and and attack attempts (1323). For her career, Hyatt is first in total attempts and third all-time in kills.
A junior, McDuffie earned honorable mention distinction. In her first year as a setter, she dished 7.3 assists per set. McDuffie also recorded 1.78 digs and 1.1 kills each set.
Freshman Borawski was selected to the USA South All Sportsmanship unit.
The Pride ended the year with a 3-2 loss at NC Wesleyan in the conference quarterfinals on Tuesday. GC was 10-28, but won five of its last six matches.
