David Green is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Greensboro College baseball team in 2012.

Green is a managing partner of Umpire Management Professionals and is a certified college umpire. Green has spent the past 21 years as a player and past president of the Triad Men's Baseball League.

A four-year baseball player at Guilford College, he earned his bachelor's degree in elementary education.

Green and his wife, Annette, live in Greensboro. The couple have two adult children: Adam and Leah.
