Last Season's Meeting: A late rally came up short as Greensboro fell to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in USA South play with a 28-20 home defeat to Ferrum (2-4, 2-1).  The Pride fell behind 21-0 but cut the deficit to 28-20 with 2:03 remaining in the game.  The ensuing on-side kick was recovered by the Panthers, who followed with a first down to close out the game.  Greensboro picked up 353 yards of total offense, with quarterback Kall Daniel and wide receiver Antwan Thorpe leading the way.  Daniel went 18-31 for 250 yards through the air and three touchdowns while Thorpe had seven catches for 145 yards and three scores.  Allen Stallings led the defensive attack with 12 tackles.  Ferrum, meanwhile, racked up 434 yards of total offense, 268 of which came on the ground.  Quarterback Marcus Mayo ran for 75 yards in addition to throwing for two touchdowns.

Game Notes: Senior Greensboro linebacker Allen Stallings earned USA South Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week following a 17 tackle performance against NC Wesleyan...Stallings is 13 assisted tackles away from holding all three major career tackle records (total, unassisted, assisted)...Sophomore wide receiver Dexter Russell broke the single game school record for most receiving yards set by Terry Lowe (190) in 2008 with 201...Russell's 14 receptions were the second most in single game school history...The Pride have gone over 270 yards passing and 340 yards of total offense in each of the past two games...Freshman quarterback Ryan Throndset's season completion percentage of 55.8 is currently the best in school history...Ferrum has won four straight games since dropping its first two...The Panthers 230.8 yards per game average on the ground is best in the USA South...Ferrum has three players; Marcus Mayo, Steven Harris and Dontav Gilbert; averaging over 40 yards per game rushing...The Panthers have outscored opponents in every quarter overall for the season...
