Beyond Sports Network Honors Stallings as All-American
Pride football player Allen Stallings nabbed another All-America selection, being named to the Beyond Sports Network Division III First Team. Stallings was previously recognized by D3Proday.com as a First Team All-American as well as the USA South Conference as a member of the First Team.
The senior linebacker from Manteo, North Carolina, finished his playing career as the all-time leading tackler at Greensboro College. Among the records he holds includes most solo (193), assisted (180) and total tackles in a career (373), most tackles in a season (139) and most tackles in a game (26).
In addition, Stallings participated in two postseason All-Star games, earning Defensive Most Valuable Player honors at the National Bowl. He was one of five representatives from the USA South to make the list.
Stallings will also be participating in the BSN Collegiate Showcase in Akron, Ohio, from March 9-11. The Showcase is a three day event that features around 200 of the top athletes from around the country. They work out and will play a single game in front of professional scouts and coaches in a unique combination of the NFL Combine and Senior Bowl.
