Position: Offensive Coordinator

Kevin McKeethan will take over the reigns of The Pride offense beginning with the 2011 season.  He joins The Pride after spending four years working at Kent State.  McKeethan started his tenure with the Golden Flash as a graduate assistant in charge of video coordination before moving to graduate assistant coach and quality control coordinator in 2008.  Prior to his work at Kent State, he spent a year coaching wide receivers at Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee and a season with Maryville College as an assistant coach.

McKeethan played college football at Maryville College where he was a two year letterman at quarterback and received the 2005 Academic Award and was named to the 2005 USA South All-Academic team.  He also lettered for four years as a baseball player at Maryville while receiving numerous awards, including: the Coach's Award in 2004 and 2007, 2006 team captain, 2005 Top Offensive Player Award, and three-time Great South Athletic Conference All-Academic team. 

McKeethan graduated cum laude from Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and was a seven-time member of Maryville College's Dean's List, as well as a lifetime member of the National Dean's List.  He also completed his Master's of Arts degree in Sport and Recreational Management from Kent State while working as a graduate assistant.
