Men's Golf Wraps up Emory Spring Invitational in 4th out of 17
The Pride men's golf team made a second day jump at the Emory Spring Invitational to finish in fourth out of 17 teams. Greensboro fired the days second best score, at 288, to conclude the tournament with a total score of 591 (303-288).
Scott Novicki and Joshua Hudgins each posted a team best -1, 71 at the Druid Hills Golf Club on Tuesday. Both players recorded four birdies apiece in the final round.
Ben Nihart led the team in birdies on the day with five and finished the round with an even, 72. He was followed by Nick Peoples, with three birdies, at +2, 74 and Kirk Mitchell at 80.
The Pride will next be in action on April 13-15 at the USA South Championship at the Stoney Creek Golf Club in Burlington, NC.
