Salisbury, NC -- #Nick Patrone# scored four goals but Greensboro College lost at Catawba College, 13-11, on Saturday. The Pride ends its season at 9-6 and the Indians improved to 8-7. Box score
Fellow seniors #Matt Leach# and #John Anglin# had strong finals games for GC. Goalkeeper Leach had 10 saves and allowed 5 goals in the second half. Anglin scored twice for The Pride.
Greensboro trailed most of the game and were behind 8-3 in the second period. Yet GC rallied and Anglin's last score tied the game 11-11 with 9:35 remaining in regulation.
Caawba, however, tallied the match's two final goals. The Indians survived a 30-second penalty in the final two minutes with Josh Liptak stopped the final shot by the Pride with 1:44 to play. Catawba was able to run out the rest of the clock.
Maty Tuohy had a game-high 5 points (4 goals and one assist). Liptak stopped 14 Pride shots.

NCAA Divsion II Catawba out-shot GC, 41-37. CC led in gound balls, 38-34, and face-offs won, 15-13.
