Bill Blakely Selected to USILA Men's Lacrosse All-Star Game

Greensboro College men's lacrosse player, Bill Blakely, was selected on Monday to participate in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/LaxWorld Division III Senior North/South All-Star Game.  

The game originated in 1940 and was played at Municipal Stadium in Baltimore, MD.  This year's game will be played in Harvard Stadium, Boston, MA, on Friday, May 25, at 3:00 p.m.  The Division I/II game will be played at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the stadium.

Blakely finished out his outstanding Pride career in 2012 with team highs in goals (33), assists (23) and points (53).  For his career, he appeared in 55 games, recording 65 goals, 48 assists and 113 points.

"I am extremely excited and honored to have been selected to the North/South game and to represent Greensboro College," Blakely said.  "I owe all of my success to my parents, all of my coaches throughout my career, and most importantly, my teammates.  One Pride!"
