Pride Men's Soccer Announces 2012 Recruiting Class
Greensboro College men's soccer coach John Trice announced the 2012 recruiting class on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday's feature highlights eight incoming players - Joel Galeana Cortez, Jason Curfman, Drew Clukey, Dane Famiglietta, Craig Gage, Tyler Mclemore, Morgan Stevenson and Logan Rohde. The remainder of the class will be included in part two, which will be released next week.
"I am very excited about the group of student-athletes we have been recruiting for this upcoming 2012 season," Trice commented. " As our staff heads into our second season at Greensboro College, it was vital to bring in a large recruiting class to lay the foundation and establish the culture for the program moving forward."
"Again our staff was able to attract stand-out players from some of the top clubs both in North Carolina and the surrounding states. This is a very balanced recruiting class with several players that our staff expects to compete and contribute immediately this fall. We are anxious to start working with them in August."
The Pride are scheduled to kick-off the 2012 campaign on Friday, August 31 with a road match against cross-town rival Guilford at 7 p.m. Greensboro will open its home slate on Sunday, September 2 against Randolph. Match time is set for 4 p.m. on Pride Field.
