Bryce Jackson joins Greensboro’s staff after spending the last six years at Averett University as a standout player and coach. During his coaching career at Averett, Jackson served as Tight Ends / Wide Receivers Coach (2024-2025) as well as Quarterback’s Coach (2025-2026). In addition to the title of position coach, Bryce also held the roles of Offensive Passing Game Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, and Co-Video Coordinator.
Prior to coaching, Jackson was a five-year member of the Averett football program, serving as the starting quarterback for the Cougars. In 38 career games, he threw 524 completions for 6,687 yards and 58 touchdowns. He holds numerous program records, including career passing completions (524) and attempts (990), career passing yards and career touchdown passes.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Jackson graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports administration from Averett in May 2024. He received his Master of Business Administration from Averett in August 2026.
